Bayshore’s real-world patient data validates benefits of specialty drug for tough-to-treat gastric and esophageal cancers
A new study published in Current Oncology, leveraged Patient Support Program (PSP) data collected by Bayshore’s Specialty Rx pharmacy division. The data demonstrates that gastric and esophageal cancer patients may see an additional benefit of 3.5 months without their condition worsening while receiving FTD/TPI treatment.
Bayshore HealthCare’s virtual visit platform verified by Ontario Health
Bayshore HealthCare’s new virtual visits platform, Wave, has been verified by Ontario Health, confirming its compliance with provincial privacy, security, interoperability, and technical requirements, as well as the safeguarding of personal health information. Wave allows patients to schedule visits with Bayshore Specialty Rx nurses who provide virtual injection training for complex diseases such as multiple sclerosis.
Forbes and Statista names Bayshore one of Canada’s Best Employers
Bayshore was awarded on the Forbes list of Canada’s Best Employers 2023. This prestigious award was presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

For the 17th consecutive year, Bayshore has requalified and maintained Platinum Club status on Deloitte’s list of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, the country’s leading business awards program.
Bayshore’s Chief Nursing & Clinical Officer wins prestigious RNAO Leadership award
Chief Nursing & Clinical Officer, Maureen Charlebois, was presented with the RNAO Recognition Award for Leadership in Nursing Administration, given to a Registered Nurse who provides exemplary nursing leadership by acting as a change agent, resource, and mentor within their professional setting.
Bayshore HealthCare Launches Vantage
In May, Bayshore launched an innovative remote patient monitoring (RPM) program designed to improve patient outcomes, enhance healthcare delivery, and streamline communication among healthcare providers. Vantage is a cloud-based solution created in partnership with Microsoft, which leverages the capabilities of Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare.
Introducing Vyta by Bayshore HealthCare
Vyta was created and designed to alleviate the stress on family members supporting their senior loved ones to remain living at home. Vyta provides access to a range of services to make aging in place convenient for your loved ones. These services are delivered through our trusted third-party service partners and include seasonal services, home maintenance, and in-home personal support services.
Quebec Neighbourhood Health Team concept gets back to the basics
In the spring, Bayshore Home Health’s Quebec offices were eager to test a new home care model. This model uses a team-based approach to help people stay in their homes for as long as possible. It has since demonstrated its capacity to transform the home care delivery system by adhering to the principles of trust, autonomy, creativity, simplicity, and collaboration.
Bayshore’s @home program featured on The Globe & Mail
Bayshore and the Integrated Care Solutions (ICS) team was featured in the Globe & Mail earlier this year for the @home program, a transitional program that gives patients individualized care plans after leaving the hospital.

Bayshore named a primary nursing provider to Indigenous communities in Ontario, Alberta and Manitoba
Bayshore secured a multi-year contract as a primary nursing provider for northern Ontario, Alberta, and Manitoba communities! Bayshore will significantly enhance the availability of high-quality community health relief support services in remote, isolated, and semi-isolated Indigenous communities in Ontario, Alberta, and Manitoba through its Northern Staffing Division.
