International Women’s Day 2023: Embrace Equity

Today, on March 8th, we are excited to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD). This day recognizes women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements and calls for action to accelerate women’s equality.

This year’s IWD theme is #EmbraceEquity. Equity aims to change systemic and structural barriers that prevent people from reaching their highest potential.

At Bayshore, we take pride in the diversity of our 18,000+ team members, of which 85% are women. Insights from our colleagues across the country help us work toward our commitment to building an inclusive and equitable workplace where team members of all ages, cultures, educational backgrounds, gender identities, and races have the tools they need to grow and succeed.

To celebrate, we spoke to staff across the country to learn more about the women who have had an impact on them and the advice they would give to their younger selves.
